Sr. Accountant

My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with their day-to-day accounting operations in their Washington, DC office. The ideal person for the Senior Accountant position will assist with preparing the consolidated financial statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly financial reports, posting the appropriate journal entries; including intercompany transactions, supporting the audits, and having an overall understanding of ASC principles and accounting under US GAAP standards.

Daily responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
· Consolidate financial statements.
· Prepare appropriate journal entries.
· Reconcile various balance sheet accounts.
· Produce financial reporting packages.
