Finance Manager-NonProfit

Temp to Hire | $62.50-$72.12/hour D.O.E. | Salary upon conversion: $130,000-$150,000 D.O.E.

Robert Joseph Group is recruiting a hands-on Finance Manager our highly focused mission-based Washington, DC nonprofit client. This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be comfortable with that arrangement.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will supervise a Senior Accountant, coordinate the outsourced accounting firm's work, and keep daily accounting and financial reporting on track.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• At least six years of progressive accounting experience, including nonprofit accounting.
• At least two years of direct accounting staff supervision, including experience managing hybrid teams.
• Hands-on grant accounting experience, particularly restricted-fund accounting, required.
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct and strong Excel skills.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Collaborative work style and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated commitment to civil rights, racial justice, and equity.
