A respected national law firm is seeking a Temporary Facilities Assistant to support a large-scale internal office move at its Washington, D.C. location. This is an ideal opportunity for a college student home for the summer or someone seeking short-term work with a dynamic and professional environment. The assignment is expected to last through July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with packing and organizing boxes for internal relocations and hoteling setups
- Help move light furniture and office items (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
- Support the Facilities team by conducting walk-throughs of office spaces to identify move-related needs
- Perform daily inspections and tidying of hoteling offices
- Collaborate with the on-site Facilities team (Chuck, Toussaint, and Candace) to execute tasks related to space planning and relocation
- Handle miscellaneous facilities tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to pitch in as needed and take initiative
- Prior facilities or office support experience a plus, but not required
Compensation:
$19 - $23/hr.
