About the job Document Imaging SpecialistSalary: $22 - $50 an hour. Job Type: Full-time.

Daily sort and index high volume of various student documents applied and submitted for processing in NOVA imaging system. The position will quality‑check and prepare hard‑copy records for scanning – searching match documents, scanning hard‑copy files to electronic images and updating student records in the college student information system (SIS). Download, link and process electronic backlog documents for transcripts evaluation and other supporting verification documents.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Required Qualifications (KSA’s)- Strong customer service skills, able to work well with others.
- Detail‑oriented, familiar with computer applications related to student information systems.
- Knowledge of office procedures, various office equipment, and excellent organization skills.
- Ability to learn college programs and policies, multi‑task, and navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently in identifying and addressing documentation requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to meet deadlines and handle pressure situations.
- Work with accuracy to review each document manually or online for quality control; re‑scan if required.
- Knowledge and ability to follow and understand standards established by the college, state, and federal regulations.
- Ability to work with a large volume of documents.
- Working knowledge of different web browsers and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Create batches of related paper documents and assign the required index document type.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite applications.
- Knowledge or some experience working with Perceptive Content.
- Some experience working with People Soft SIS or other student information systems.
- Experience working in a higher education setting.
