Location:Elizabeth City, NC
Work Environment:On-site at USCG CG-AIR/ALC
Schedule:Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
We are seeking a General Clerk III to provide administrative, records, data-entry, and operational support to USCG CG-AIR. This position requires the ability to complete assignments involving multiple steps and varying levels of complexity while applying established procedures, manuals, and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have strong data-entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate records across multiple Government information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Maintain financial, operational, and other records in electronic and manual formats.
- Review statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Collect, organize, and maintain information used by Government personnel.
- Enter contractor and civilian industrial time into applicable systems.
- Enter contractor time using ALMIS Contractor Time.
- Update Service Request status information in applicable databases.
- Prepare closeout documentation for completed Service Requests.
- Monitor and correct timekeeping punches in Timeforce as applicable.
- Generate reports from Government databases.
- Provide information used by personnel in making component repair and operational decisions.
- Research and resolve routine administrative or records-related issues within established procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least
two years of data-entry experience
. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, manuals, and instructions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
- Experience with ALMIS.
- Experience with AMMIS.
- Previous USCG or military administrative support experience.
- Experience with industrial timekeeping or maintenance-related records.
