Business Development Specialist
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000
About the Role: We are seeking a Business Development Specialist with 3+ years of legal BD experience to join a dynamic team supporting strategic growth initiatives for a leading law firm. This role focuses on driving client development, supporting practice group marketing efforts, and collaborating with attorneys to execute business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with attorneys and practice leaders to develop and implement business development plans.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for client engagement.
- Prepare proposals, pitches, and RFP responses tailored to client needs.
- Manage content for marketing collateral, client alerts, and thought leadership pieces.
- Track and report on business development activities and ROI metrics.
- Support firm-wide initiatives, events, and sponsor ships to enhance visibility and client relationships.
- Minimum 3 years of business development experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong understanding of legal industry trends and client service best practices.
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Model: Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office in Washington, DC.
