We are looking foreager, driven candidates with experience in Agile methodologies and project management to guide our teams in developing impactful solutions for the General Services Administration (GSA). The role will work with the Application Management Division (AMD) within the Office of Public Buildings Information Technology Services (PB-ITS) supporting mission-critical applications and IT initiatives that support PBS business operations. The role will include hands-on, day-to-day execution of project management, operations and maintenance (O&M), governance coordination, and budget/acquisition support activities across multiple active systems and programs.

In this role, the Agile Project Manager will provide support to each project team in the portfolio.

Some responsibilities include:

• Develop measures to gauge project performance
• Identify opportunities to improve project management standardization, effectiveness, and coordination
• Test new approaches and processes, identify risks and propose mitigation tactics
• Create customizable templates to start new projects quickly and transition projects between phases
• Document, execute, and advise on knowledge management approaches
• Develop, deliver, and maintain project and portfolio-level reports
• Identify and implement project management best practices
• Requirements development and management, including participation in governance processes such as Change Control Boards (CCB), process documentation, and business analysis activities
• Oversight and coordination of operations and maintenance (O&M) activities across multiple systems
• Management of system enhancements, releases, and production support activities
• Support for application and system security coordination activities
• Application of structured project management and process improvement practices, including familiarity with CMMI-based principles
• Support shall require coordination across multiple concurrent systems, stakeholders, and priorities within a dynamic operational environment
