DFC operates through a comprehensive approach to international development finance, working to channel private investment into emerging markets and developing countries. The corporation serves as a catalyst for economic growth by providing financing solutions, political risk insurance, and other financial products that enable private companies to invest in strategic sectors that align with U.S. foreign policy objectives.
