Concrete Estimator – Washington, DC
A strong, growing contractor in the DC market is looking for an experienced Concrete Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across major commercial and industrial concrete projects. This is a high‑impact role with a company known for consistent work and a collaborative culture.
What You’ll Do- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and industrial concrete scopes.
- Analyze drawings, specs, and project requirements to create accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Develop budgets for foundations, slabs, structural concrete, tilt‑wall, and site concrete.
- Work with project management and field teams to refine scopes and pricing.
- Assist in bid strategy, subcontractor outreach, and proposal development.
- 5+ years estimating concrete projects in commercial and/or industrial construction.
- Experience supporting $10M+ concrete project budgets.
- Strong knowledge of materials, labor, production rates, and cost structure.
- Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
