Well‑established General Contractor in the DC / Maryland / Virginia (DMV) area seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close‑out. This role is ideal for a PM who understands local jurisdictions, works well with field teams, and can manage projects end‑to‑end.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects throughout the DMV
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and cost reporting
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change orders
- Coordinate daily with Superintendents and field teams
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
- Track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting, and safety requirements
- Drive projects to successful on‑time and on‑budget completion
- 3–10+ years of experience with a General Contractor
- Strong knowledge of DMV jurisdictions (DC, MD, VA)
- Experience managing commercial projects $5M+
- Ground‑up and/or major renovation experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools
- Strong backlog of work
