Role & responsibilities
Lead Construction (Manage)- Cross Country Pipeline
Location: Nigeria
Experience: 18 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Job Description:
- Lead and manage construction activities for cross-country pipeline projects from planning to completion.
- Supervise pipeline construction, including trenching, stringing, welding, lowering, back filling, hydrotesting, and commissioning
. - Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, equipment, materials, and construction schedules.
- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and HSE requirements
. - Review construction methodologies, work permits, inspection requirements, and method statements.
- Manage contractors and ensure work is completed within time, cost, quality, and safety targets
. - Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and coordinate with clients and consultants.
- Identify construction issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports and construction documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
Strong experience in cross-country oil & gas pipeline construction
