Lead Estimator to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for construction projects. You'll analyze plans and specs, partner with project teams and subcontractors, and help lead the estimating function — including mentoring junior estimators.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specs
- Track market trends, material costs, and labor rates
- Prepare and submit complete bid proposals
- Identify and mitigate project/estimating risks
- Mentor and develop other estimators on the team
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Pro Est)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Office-based, low noise, primarily desk/computer work
