Essential Functions- Operate scoreboard or other game equipment during events.
- Assist with the setup, breakdown, and event logistics, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Maintain frequent availability for over 100 events each year hosted by AU Athletics, with hours varying based on need and skill‑sets.
- Part‑Time.
- Non‑Exempt.
- Must be available for evenings and weekends.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- $22.86 – $25 per hour.

- Employees in staff positions at American University must deliver their services to the university from either the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, or perform work on‑site at the university.
