Our mission is to provide empowering and transformative music education, making a lasting impact on our clients' musical journeys. We have immediate work available Tuesdays at 2 schools in the am in the Montgomery County Area.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a music instructor based in the Washington DC Area. The Music Instructor will be responsible for teaching music appreciation classes for during/after school music programming, developing individualized lesson plans, instructing music theory, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The instructor will also be involved in both one‑on‑one sessions and group classes, focusing on skill development, technique, and musical expression.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Rhythm Instruction and Music Theory
• Knowledgeable in Music and Music Education
• Familiarity with teaching additional instruments, such as Piano, is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels
• Experience in developing and implementing effective lesson plans
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or related field is preferred
