Job Description
OverviewInsight Global is seeking a dynamic Director of Provider Relations to lead strategic outreach and strengthen physician alliances across key healthcare markets and service areas. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for driving provider engagement, deepening community partnerships, and expanding referral and redirection opportunities to support organizational growth.
The Director will serve as a trusted liaison between healthcare providers, community stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, optimizing service line performance, and enhancing overall market position.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Manage assigned departments to achieve fiscal goals and operational excellence.
- Implement value-added programs and services that enhance patient, physician, and employee satisfaction through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the C‑Suite to develop outreach objectives aligned with the hospital’s strategic plan.
- Analyze competitive strengths and weaknesses across service lines, technology, and physician networks to identify opportunities for growth.
- Recommend solutions to strengthen the hospital’s competitive position within targeted markets.
- Conduct research to identify physicians with high potential for hospital and ambulatory utilization.
- Develop and maintain a targeted list of physician contacts and implement innovative engagement strategies.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with physicians, their staff, and other referral sources.
- Track outreach activities and outcomes using the company‑approved CRM tool.
- Meet established benchmarks for admissions, surgeries, and outpatient visits.
- Analyze volume growth initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians and hospital leadership to address operational and service concerns.
- Ensure timely follow‑up and resolution of issues raised by providers.
- Contribute to the development of service line marketing plans and physician recruitment/retention strategies.
- Execute outreach activities tailored to identified physician audiences.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital operating environment needed.
- Minimum of 7 years in healthcare sales, physician relations, network development, or business development.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, managed care/reimbursement, physician practice management, credentialing, recruitment, and governance.
- Understanding of regulatory standards and laws applicable to physician recruitment, planning and business development.
- Ability to interpret and consider physician volume and payer mix data in the development of an overall hospital and market positioning.
- Effective project management and plan execution skills with the ability to respond to multiple competing priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Capacity to articulate change/value propositions to physicians and their staff and interact with hospital and corporate colleagues regarding compliance and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent human relations skills with the ability to impact and influence results.
- Little to no guidance provided by Supervisor on a daily basis.
- Reports directly into the CEO.
