DutiesThis is OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until June 5, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referrals of eligible application will be February 20, 2026 with subsequent cut-off dates every month. Eligible applications received after that date will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available.
The physician shall provide primary care services required for VA beneficiaries. The physician shall provide care at the Washington DC VA Medical Center or at the associated Community Based Out Patient clinics (CBOCs). All labor and services shall be provided including management, supervision, teaching, consultations and reports. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in this Functional Statement and professional standards of The Joint Commission.
Care shall be appropriately documented in the electronic medical record in accordance with standard community practice.
