Frontline Pay Transparency/Benefits
Pay: $40-45/hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’sexperience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily building operations and maintenance.
• Supervise, train, and mentor engineering staff to maintain high standards of work quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, coordinating repairs with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) for energy efficiency and optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety codes, including OSHA regulations and NFPA standards.
• Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
• Oversee the completion of work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with property management and tenants to address service requests and maintenance needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations, including after-hours calls when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, facility management, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating building operations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP, and building automation systems (BAS).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
