Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer II (6385) with Security Clearance
As Sr. Electrical Power Engineer II, you'll serve as the senior technical authority for designing, evaluating, and sustaining electrical power systems supporting mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. * Lead, plan, design, monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, document, and evolve the electrical state of telecommunications networks.
* Design and evaluate electrical power systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure.
* Support resilient, high-availability infrastructure operations in secure environments.
* Participate in Agile execution and technical planning discussions.
* Troubleshoot power system issues and operational faults.
* Communicate technical recommendations and engineering decisions clearly to stakeholders.
* Build and maintain customer trust through technical excellence and disciplined execution.
* Apply creativity and engineering judgment to deliver innovative, mission-aligned solutions. What you'll need to succeed:
* An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required;
Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
* 8+ years designing and evaluating complex electrical power systems supporting critical infrastructure.
* Deep expertise in power distribution, redundancy, grounding, and load analysis.
* Experience supporting telecommunications or data center environments.
* Possess a DoD 8140 DCWF Role of 451 - System Administrator with certifications such as CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP. SALARY RANGE: $170,000 - $230,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
* The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
* The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
* Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
* This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of Metro Star, which may include:
* Performance-based bonuses
* Company-paid training and/or certifications
* Referral bonuses
