Position Summary

Global Payroll Staff Accountant will handle payroll processing, reconciliation, review and analysis for the Global Employment Tax (GET) and Global Payroll teams, focusing on compliance and delivery across the EMEA and Asia regions. The role collaborates with external payroll service providers, ensuring accurate payroll tax filings, payments and reconciliations, while supporting Payroll and GET managers. Responsibilities also include reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations, and assisting with global mobility, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and employee compensation programs.

Strong professional and communication skills are essential for handling highly confidential information.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate, timely and efficient processing of international payrolls for the Asia and EMEA regions.
  • Liaise between payroll, HCM, Global Benefits, Global Employment Tax and Corporate Accounting teams.
  • Assist in the new global payroll system implementation and efficiency roll‑out.
  • Coordinate workload with Asia, EMEA and US Payroll Coordinators to respond to inquiries.
  • Conduct new‑hire training orientation for Asia and EMEA employees on payroll processing, timesheet and travel mobility.
  • Compile and review payroll reconciliations for full‑company reporting.
  • Create and review audit reports to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Respond to employees’ inquiries in the payroll inboxes promptly.
  • Partner with Asia and EMEA accounting teams on payroll general ledger reconciliation.
Secondary Responsibilities (40% of time)
  • Respond to employees’ inquiries in the global mobility inbox regarding travel policies and tracker system usage.
  • Document all payroll processes and maintain documentation for business continuity.
  • Prepare, review and reconcile post‑payroll reports for all applicable countries.
  • Support Payroll Managers and Administrators on all global payroll aspects.
  • Assist Global Employment Tax team with Global RSU vesting procedures quarterly.
  • Assist Global Employment Tax and global payroll teams with audits and other requests.
Requirements Education & Certificates
  • Concentration in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources or other business‑related degree, strongly preferred.
Professional Experience
  • 2–3 years of relevant Global Payroll, Accounting, Tax or Global Mobility experience required.
  • Experience processing payroll in Workday preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with strong follow‑through skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to juggle moderate to multiple changing priorities.
  • Resourcefulness in executing projects.
