Role Overview

The Senior Managing Director will help lead the forensic accounting team, overseeing engagements in financial investigations, valuations, fraud inquiries, eDiscovery, asset tracing, economic damages, and expert witness assignments. This is a client‑facing leadership role with a strong emphasis on business development and practice growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct complex forensic accounting and financial litigation projects from inception through expert testimony.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with national leadership.
  • Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional growth and excellence.
  • Cultivate relationships with law firms, insurers, corporations, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the firm in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
  • Provide expert witness testimony in state, federal, and regulatory proceedings.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 15+ years in forensic accounting, financial investigations, dispute consulting, or related fields at a senior leadership level.
  • Credentials: CPA, CFF, CFE, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualifications.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to scale teams, develop talent, and manage P&L responsibilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in fraud investigations, eDiscovery/data analytics, valuation, and expert testimony.
  • Client Focus: Demonstrated success in business development and building high‑impact client relationships.
  • Integrity: Commitment to ethical standards and delivering defensible, transparent findings.
