We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Permanent Director of Asset Management in the Accounting + Finance industry. This role is critical to our business, as it involves the management of our affordable housing portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our asset management, from financial analysis and investor reporting to capital planning and budgeting.

- 1. Overseeing the financial performance of the affordable housing portfolio, including regular financial analysis and reporting to investors and lenders.
- 2. Managing property operations, including oversight of property management teams and ensuring compliance with Section 8 and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations.
- 3. Developing and implementing capital planning strategies, including managing cash flow and reserve funds.
- 4. Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- 5. Ensuring all properties are in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Section 8 and LIHTC.
- 6. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the long‑term financial sustainability of our affordable housing assets.
- 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in the affordable housing sector.
- 2. Proven expertise in financial analysis, investor and lender reporting, property management oversight, capital planning, cash flow and reserve management, budgeting and forecasting, and financial modeling.
- 3. Extensive knowledge of Section 8 asset oversight and LIHTC compliance.
- 4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- 5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
- 6. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
