Tax Analyst
Based inWashington, DC Office (Hybrid)
What will you do?- Serve as the US tax team's on the ground presence.
- Support Tax HQ in overseeing federal and state income tax compliance, including reviewing filings prepared by external advisors, and ensuring processes and reporting evolve with the company's growth.
- Coordinate and supervise state and local tax compliance, including sales & use tax, property tax and franchise tax, working with advisors, cross functional teams and Tax HQ to identify opportunities.
- Work closely with Tax HQ across tax structuring, ITC and tax equity matters, and ongoing planning, researching, coordinating with the US Finance team, and providing analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
- Contribute to the analysis, strategy and management of any IRS or state tax audits, notices and disputes in the US.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA strongly preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Working knowledge of federal and state income tax, sales & use tax, property tax and partnership structures in multi state environments.
- Experience in renewable energy tax is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with the Texas tax landscape is a bonus given our current portfolio.
