Contractor – Transportation Security Administration
Qualification Requirements/ExpectationsContractors shall, at a minimum:
Possess Certification from NCCA or its predecessor institutions;
Candidate must be able to provide Certificate confirming graduation from the Psycho physiological Detection of Deception (PPD) program and Certification from the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) or its predecessor institutions.
- Conduct a minimum of two-hundred (200) polygraph examinations;
- At least two (2) years of experience as a polygraph examiner;
- Be in current standing with the completion of 80 hours of continuing education, as required for the continuing NCCA certification.
- U.S. Military Police School/Army Polygraph School (USAMPS)
- Department of Defense Polygraph Institute (DODPI)
- Defense Academy for Credibility Assessment (DACA)
A background investigation (BI) will be completed by TSA Personnel Security and is a requirement for all personnel associated with this contract.
Candidates who have worked for a DHS Agency within the last 30 days will be considered for cleared.
Agency Specific TrainingTSA Information Technology Security Awareness and Rules of Behavior Training (online – approximately 1 hour).
- Training must be successfully completed and forwarded to Company within 3 days of receipt of Government issued email.
Polygraph Examiners shall follow the provisions found within the Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Test (LEPET) guidelines.
Pre-test PreparationsAll polygraph examination reports presented to the QC Manager shall be complete, clear, timely, and consistent:
Upon the completion of a polygraph examination, the contractor shall provide, within five (5) business days, a complete and accurate polygraph examination report to the designated QC Manager.

Polygraph EquipmentProvided by Potomac Management Solutions. TSA utilizes Lafayette Instruments to complete examinations.
