Beautify is looking for creative Hair Stylists with an eye for design to provide clients with on-location/mobile braiding, styling, and blow-out services.

• Managing all bookings through the Beautify app.
• Being on time for all appointments and performing services within the time allotted.
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Listening to the needs of clients to determine their preferences.
• Handling client questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Adhering to all standards for client service and cleanliness.
• Cleaning all client-provided workspace at the end of the appointment.
• Demonstrating your personal style while adhering to the Beautify dress code.
• Showing consideration for the comfort of clients by practicing good hygiene and limiting excessive scents (i.e., smoke, perfume, etc.).
• Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
• Evaluating the condition of the client’s hair and advising them on proper hair care and suitable hair care treatments.
• Keeping updated on hairstyle trends and styling methods.
• Performing hot tool styling and other dry styling on clients (i.e., braids, cuts, extension installation, etc.).
• Regularly attending, participating in, and supporting training and staff meetings.
• Participating in all sales, promotions, and brand-building events.
• Performing other job-related duties as required.

• Current state cosmetology license.
• Creative mindset and a good eye for design.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision (self-motivated).
• Capability to use mobile apps and other technology to view scheduled appointments, attend meetings, and complete other job-related tasks as required.
• Willingness to work as a team.
• Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers.
• Understanding of health and safety rules.
