Audiologist - Med Star Washington Hospital Center About the Job
Medstar Washington Hospital Center Division of Audiology is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our practice in Washington, DC. Qualifications- Master's degree in Audiology or AuD is required.
- Licensure as an Audiologist in the District of Columbia.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.
- Provide full range of diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients, including neonates, with hearing disorders or balance disturbances.
- Evaluate, select and fit patients with cochlear and bone conduction implants, assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and amplification systems.
- Train audiology interns.
The Division of Audiology is part of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). The Division of Audiology currently has four providers. As noted above, we seek a provider who is broadly trained in audiology and comfortable with the variety of patients cared for in our practice.
