Center For Laser Surgery is a leading Cosmetic Dermatology practice in Upper Northwest Washington, DC (Wesley Heights/Spring Valley area). The center was founded in 1995 and is recognized worldwide for their expertise in developing and performing laser, injectable, and skin care treatments. Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Thomas Adrian and his skilled staff provide advanced cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic treatments for their patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site (non-remote) role for a Patient Coordinator. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for opening the office, checking patients in, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling. They will also be responsible for communicating with patients and using basic medical terminology in their daily work. Prior healthcare and/or dermatology/plastic surgery experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Reliable 5 day per week work presence without interruption for personal reasons
• Experience in appointment scheduling and receptionist duties
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field is preferred but not required
