. This position is located at Georgetown University.
The Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) is responsible for managing and coordinating approximately seven of the 55 ongoing clinical trials in the Department of Neurology, primarily in Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Stroke, and Parkinson's Disease.
Coordination involves learning assessment schedules, planning visits, conducting study visits, ensuring protocol compliance, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The CRC II also manages regulatory maintenance, training, data entry, adverse event reporting, and communication with team members and sponsors.
Responsibilities- Coordinate seven MS studies conducted at Georgetown University Hospital Dept. of Neurology, performing on-site visits five days per week.
- Learn and manage each trial’s assessment schedule and coordinate each visit, including pre‑visit planning and data entry.
- Conduct entire study visits for patients, ensuring protocol adherence and addressing patient needs.
- Maintain knowledge of ancillary departments (Radiology, CRU, Cardiology, etc.) and coordinate with them effectively.
- Perform regulatory maintenance, ongoing training compliance, accurate reporting via OnCore/CTMS, and timely adverse‑event reporting.
- Communicate promptly with patients (respond within 24 h), sponsors, study monitors, and sponsors’ representatives.
- Schedule and reschedule visits, send reminders, and coordinate timeline with investigators and study staff.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience with direct patient interaction.
- Current CITI Group 1 Biomedical, HIPAA, and IATA Training.
- Experience handling human biological specimens and operating a centrifuge independently.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Experience accessing and interpreting patient medical records; knowledgeable of medical care regulations.
- Ability to measure vital signs (BP, RR, Temp, height, weight), administer EKGs, perform PFTs, and obtain medical history.
- Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and able to follow directions; respectful team player; motivated and committed to exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for patients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.

Pay Range$44,022.00 – $73,406.80.
