Position

Summary

The Senior Clinical Research Associate will play a key role in the execution and oversight of clinical trials, working closely with Clinical Operations, investigators, and external partners to ensure high quality trial conduct and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform site monitoring activities including site initiation, routine monitoring, and close out visits
  • Ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with protocols, GCP, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investigative sites, supporting site performance and issue resolution
  • Review clinical data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Clinical Operations, Data Management, and vendors
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field
  • Five or more years of clinical research experience with at least three years in an on‑site monitoring role
  • Strong knowledge of ICH GCP and clinical trial processes
  • Experience supporting Phase 1 to Phase 3 clinical trials preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
  • Must be based out of DC, DMV, IAD or DCA metro area
