Position Summary

The Telecommunication Operator is responsible for answering all internal and external telephones calls from the public and hospital staff. Callers are to be routed or paged per request to the Operator. At the request of the caller, the operator may need unlock or reset a users computer, network or application account password. The Operators are to follow all establish policies, procedures and verbal orders from immediate supervisor or lead operator.

Support the Hospitals organizational culture for Service Excellence Standards and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all internal and external customers. Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications Education/Qualification
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as telephone or Contact Center operator preferred
Skills
  • Able to speak and write English Fluently
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at a time
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communications skills both verbal and written
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills
  • Demonstrates ability to understand process to reset and unlock user password accounts utilizing computer software.
