Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Mammography Technologist for day shifts at a busy breast center, requiring ARRT(R)(M) and at least 2 years of recent mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Work is based in a breast center specializing in both screening and diagnostic mammography

• Shift is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• Responsibilities include operation of breast imaging equipment, including support for needle localizations, stereotactic, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

• Duties include performing screening and diagnostic breast exams and assisting with advanced breast procedures

• Team environment with support from other technologists and clinicians

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, except for certain nearby facilities

• First-time travelers are not accepted—previous travel assignment experience is required

• Business casual or approved clinical attire is required

Requirements

• Active ARRT(R)(M) certification

• Minimum of 2 years of recent mammography experience

• Experience working in a facility with at least 500 beds

• Current CPR certification

• Completion of at least one previous travel assignment

• High school diploma, GED, or college degree required

• Certification in DEXA modality preferred

• License required if applicable
