Patient Registration

Pay From: $23 Per Hour

• 3+ years of recent experience in an Emergency Room, Hospital Registration or multi-provider medical office
• Ability to work overnight shifts and every other weekend
• Ability to work with mobile computer in a very high volume environment to register patients
• Strong EMR documentation, including collecting and verifying demographics and insurance
• Verifying insurance and determining eligibility
• Obtaining pre-certifications
• Entering codes for procedures
• Registering or checking patients in and applying financial information
• Strong customer service support skills with an empathetic personality
• HS diploma or GED

• Greet patients
• Register patients utilizing mobile equipment
• Collect patient's insurance and financial information for reimbursements
• Enter and update demographic patient information
• Determine insurance coverage
• Obtain pre-authorizations
• Assist with inquiries
• Provide customer service support
• Verify insurance
