Job Description – PRN Speech Pathologist – Outpatient/Main Campus (250003FS)
This PRN position supports the outpatient speech language pathology program by evaluating and providing remediation services to children and adolescents with communication disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient evaluations using standard protocols appropriate for age and disorder.
- Deliver therapy in an evidence‑based manner and prepare progress reports, discharge summaries, and insurance requests within documented time frames.
- Demonstrate flexibility in the evaluation process and apply theoretical knowledge during patient interactions.
- Use translators and culturally and linguistically appropriate diagnostic procedures when necessary.
- Show empathy, caring, and appropriate counseling techniques; identify when to refer for future counseling.
- Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (Required)
- 0 – 2 years related experience (Required)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship (Required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association and state licensure or CF eligible (Required)
- Flexibility and knowledge of counseling techniques, empathy, caring, theoretical application, and cultural and linguistic diversity (Required)
