Job Summary

Med Star Health is looking for a Medical Staff Ops Coordinator to join our team! Under the guidance of the Regional MSO Director, the MSO Coordinator provides essential administrative support for medical staff operations. This role involves managing initial and reappointment credentialing files, ensuring compliance with standards, coordinating monthly committee meetings, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and contributes to the smooth operation of the healthcare team.

This position liaises with Med Star Health-affiliated hospitals, Medical Staff offices, and other key departments.

Primary Duties
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing credentialing files for committee meetings.
  • Ensure files comply with credentialing standards.
  • Coordinate committee meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
  • Support the Regional MSO Director with administrative duties.
  • Maintain accurate medical staff databases.
  • Serve as a liaison between medical staff, committees, and administration.
  • Respond to inquiries from medical staff and stakeholders.
  • Stay current on regulatory and policy updates related to credentialing.
  • Support audit preparations and maintain compliance documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in medical staff credentialing or healthcare administration required.
This position has a hiring range of

USD $23.65 - USD $42.03 /Hr.
