Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health with 2 years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides care in a home health setting

• Covers assigned zip codes within Washington, DC

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• May be required to float to cover additional zip codes as needed

• Uses Homecare Homebase for documentation and requires OASIS experience

• Personal vehicle required for patient visits; mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile from the first to the last patient

• Responsible for evaluating and delivering individualized home health therapy services

• Contractors are assigned to specified zip codes based on staffing needs

• Mileage must be recorded and submitted weekly for reimbursement

• Professional attire and presentation are expected while representing the agency in the community

• Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate

• All time off requests must be submitted prior to assignment

• Open to first-time travelers

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required

• Active MD PT license required; license required if applicable

• Minimum 2 years of recent home health PT experience

• Proficiency with Homecare Homebase and OASIS required

• Reliable personal vehicle with valid license and insurance required

• First-time travelers accepted with OASIS experience
