Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward
8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures that residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.

This full-service hospital includes 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Radiology/Imaging (Full Time)

Our ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership to manage the overall operations of a medical imaging department, overseeing staff, budgets, and quality assurance, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include developing policies, coordinating patient flow, managing equipment, and fostering collaboration with other departments to maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Masters degree in related field preferred
  • 7 years of professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background in Medical Imaging
Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, and technology.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost‑saving measures.
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging and a background in administrative leadership.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and potentially an advanced degree.
  • Proven managerial skills and experience as an imaging technologist.
