Physical Therapy Assistant

Join our IN HOUSE therapy team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and take a rewarding step in your career! In this role, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to assist residents/patients in recovering from physical injuries or illnesses. Your responsibilities will include implementing therapy plans involving stretching, strength training, and exercises to help regain movement and manage pain.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current state PTA licensure and valid CPR certification
• Preferred six months of experience in long-term care

Essential Functions:

• Assist residents with ambulation and daily activities
• Support physical therapists by identifying patient care issues
• Conduct patient assessments and perform therapeutic procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $42.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
