Johns Hopkins Imaging in Bethesda, MD is hiring for a CT Technologist
.

• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours per week
• 8:30am - 5:00pm
• 13 week contract assignment

Pay Rate
: $75 per hour

• Consistently selects and performs appropriate CT protocol based on patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
• Selects, reviews and adjusts appropriate technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient’s age and physical condition.
• Routinely positions patients properly on CT table. Removes all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
• Consistently completes the full exam - all appropriate paperwork, post-processing and archiving.
• Consistently verifies accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure and other pertinent information.
• Consistently demonstrates appropriate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Demonstrates a good technical knowledge to fully understand and operate the CT scanners and accessory equipment.
• Maintains and cleans all CT equipment to established guidelines.
• Actively keeps work area clean and orderly.

• Minimum of High school or GED equivalent required.
• Work requires completion of an AMA approved program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent which is required in a two year college or technical school program.
• ARRT certified with current registration required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist is required.
• Siemens and EPIC experience are preferred, but not required.
