The Private Events and Sales Manager would be responsible for sales efforts for the following locations in Washington DC:
Whiskey Charlie, Smoke and Mirrors and the restaurant of Canopy by Hilton at the Wharf.
The position is responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies, generating incremental sales for the assigned restaurants through direct and indirect sales efforts, including planning components of group dining. The Private Events and Sales Manager is responsible for partnering with the management and culinary teams to ensure each event is executed according to Concord Hospitality standards.
Responsibilities- Focus on private dining reservations, restaurant buyouts and partner events.
- Generate event sales by scouting new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients to plan events, develop contracts, detail events to assist the restaurant teams to execute events.
- Work with all event vendors including florists, rental companies, and security.
- Partner with the Concord Hospitality operations teams (Culinary, back of the house, servers) on event preparation.
- Meet with clients for all site inspections and walk-throughs to solidify event business and finalize event details.
- Manage all catering events from start to finish; book, plan event details for turnover to operations team.
- Create proposals, contracts, and event orders, as well as packages tailored to each client’s requests.
- Recap events and provide operation, sales, and production suggestions to the team.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility in terms of rentals and supplies.
- Manage day-to-day group requests and work closely with the team to ensure proper execution of event and catering orders.

Pay range: $65,000 to $80,000 annual salary
