Steptoe LLP, a Washington, DC-based Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports and works directly with the Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of all lateral and associate recruiting as well as business professionals for the firm’s U.S. offices, from candidate sourcing and interviews to onboarding and orientation.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate processing, posting and employment advertisement of lateral, associate, and business professionals’ positions, both internally via weekly inter-office emails, and externally via the firm’s career site and other source options as applicable (e.g., Linked In, Zip Recruiter, University Career Portals, Local/State Agencies, etc.)
  • Assist passengers with applicant tracking, sourcing, review, and referral to hiring managers, ensuring applicants meet position requirements
  • Assist in communication to and meetings with search firms
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining a repository of lateral, associate, and business professionals job descriptions
  • Assist with scheduling candidate interviews
  • Assist in “greeting” and speaking with candidates participating in the interview process
  • Assist with coordination of lateral, associate, and business professionals onboarding and orientation, including
  • Coordinate the onboarding and tracking of lateral and business professionals’ contractors/temps, including creation of biraz monthly contractors’ report.
  • Process data change forms (Personnel Change Notifications, or “PCNs”) for partner, lateral, and business professionals’ personnel actions, e.g., promotions, market pay adjustments, terminations, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Assist CHRO and HR Team with administrative tasks
  • Process and submit invoices through Chrome River, including AMEX payment requests to Accounting
  • Manage posting of all federal, state and local compliance posters
  • Assist with EEO1 & Vets Reporting and the اجرا applicant flow reports for affirmative action plan submission
  • Review and distribute all department mail.
  • Backup for forwarding HR phones
  • Complete and maintain departmental and employee records filing, and work with Records Department to send any necessary employee records off‑site
  • Maintain and gbig all I‑9, EEO & Confidentiality forms.
  • Coordinate the shredding of confidential documents
Non‑Essential Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum three years of relevant professional experience
Work Environment
  • Non‑smoking environment
  • Must be available to work beyond regular days and hours
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines and in stressful situations
  • Must be available to work in Washington office on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel
Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as other job‑related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
