Position Title: UI/UX Developer
Location: Washington, DC
Security Clearance Type: US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust clearance
Position Status: Contract-Hire
Responsibilities- Experienced User Interface (UI) developer to lead the design and development of the user interface for an integrated data-heavy .Net web application to support the client’s internal business processes.
- Develop a scalable, data-driven, template-based design for the application UI.
- Ensure UI design is consistent with and integrates with overall application architecture.
- Implement appropriate UI framework(s) to ensure page security, performance and scalability.
- Ensure design and development result in 508-compliant products.
- Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and partners.
- 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience designing and developing web application UI using template-based design.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA) using frameworks such as Sencha, Ext.js.
- Strong experience working in the .Net technology stack.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability.
