Description
- Define and optimize the user journey from acquisition to retention and churn prevention.
- Design and execute A/B tests to improve conversion and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to refine messaging and paywall strategies.
- Lead the design of a unified subscription experience across web and mobile app.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of login, payment, and content access.
- Prioritize subscriber benefits and ensure consistent delivery across platforms.
- Serve as the central point of contact for engineering, newsroom, marketing, and external vendors.
- Translate complex workflows into actionable tasks for design and development teams.
- Oversee integrations with third-party platforms such as Stripe, Login Radius, and Wordpress.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful and timely launches.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in digital media or subscription-based services.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products across web and mobile.
- Strong understanding of user acquisition, retention strategies, and paywall technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with tools like Wordpress, Stripe, and user authentication platforms is a plus.
This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 – $50.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
