  • Proven ability to support enterprise Oracle workloads in AWS, including architecture design, operational automation, and adherence to best practices for cloud-hosted databases.
  • Experience with AWS MySQL RDS.
  • Ability to tune, monitor, backup, restore, and support AWS RDS.

AWS Cloud Infrastructure Dev Ops & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud environments with a focus on automation and security.

  • Implement proactive security measures, including vulnerability remediation, patching, and firewall rule management.
  • Maintain compliance with security standards and internal policies, supporting security audits and assessments.
  • Monitor AWS cost usage and provide cost optimization recommendations.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECR, Cloud Watch, Lambda, and SSM.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins.
  • Implement database automation in alignment with AWS best practices.

Monitoring & Security

  • Implement monitoring and logging using AWS native tools (Cloud Watch, SSM Agent, Guard Duty, Security Hub) and Datadog.
  • Ensure database and infrastructure compliance with AWS security standards (IAM policies, VPC security, KMS encryption).
  • Troubleshoot database and infrastructure performance issues using Datadog and AWS performance tools.
  • Collaborate with security teams to harden database and cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
  • 5‑8 years of database administration experience (Oracle, Postgre

    SQL, MySQL) in AWS.
  • 3+ years of AWS experience, with a strong grasp of AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
  • Strong SQL and database scripting skills for automation, tuning, and ETL troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with AWS Linux, Rocky Linux, and RHEL.
  • Ability to secure and monitor AWS environments with Cloud Watch, SSM, Datadog, and IAM best practices.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, working across Dev Ops and database teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Docker and containerized database deployments.
  • Knowledge of AWS networking and security best practices (VPC, IAM, KMS, Security Hub).
  • Understanding of AWS Well‑Architected Framework for database deployments.
