• Review scanner results and perform vulnerability prioritization based on risk‑based analysis for remediation.
• Manage, modify and tweak security scan profiles to meet company baseline standards.
• Analyze false positives and work with remediation issues following a risk‑based approach.
• Recommend, monitor, and discuss remediation activities and evaluate and mitigate risks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and findings in the Vulnerability Management system.
• Perform security analysis of application, database, and system layers by performing manual testing and automated scans using web, application, operating system, and database vulnerability scanners (IBM App Scan and Guardium Database Scanner).
• Listen and integrate ideas from diverse views, create partnerships and collaborate with others, advocate and influence, resolve conflicts constructively, and work effectively across boundaries without active guidance from management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; analytical skills required.
• High ethical standard.

• Experience with vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Nessus, or Nexpose.
• Scripting experience helpful (Shell, Perl, Python).
• Penetration testing experience is a plus.
