IT Systems Specialist – CBOSS (Onsite)

We’re hiring an IT Systems Specialist to provide onsite and virtual IT support for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) under the CBOSS program. This is a fully onsite role in Washington, DC
, supporting DOE staff and mission partners in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

• Provide desk‑side and virtual IT support for DOE end users
• Process IT requests via service portals, SharePoint tools, and support email
• Set up and troubleshoot workstations, monitors, and peripherals
• Serve as liaison for offsite locations and external service providers
• Track and manage IT equipment inventory and assets
• Maintain email distribution lists and support SharePoint content (preferred)
• Assist with quarterly IT “Lunch & Learn” sessions
• Deliver excellent customer service through daily user interaction

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree + 2 additional years of experience
• 3+ years of IT support or service desk experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience supporting enterprise or federal IT environments a plus
