The Investment Company Institute (ICI) is the leading association representing regulated investment funds—including mutual funds, exchange‑traded funds (ETFs), closed‑end funds, and unit investment trusts (UITs) in the United States—and UCITS and similar funds offered to investors in Europe, Asia, and other jurisdictions. ICI also represents its members on issues involving the capital markets, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and collective investment trusts (CITs).

The CIO leads the promotion and adoption of technology across a staff with diverse advanced professional backgrounds, maximizing operational efficiency and member value. This role oversees ICI’s IT function supporting both standard business processes and ICI’s unique work as a research organization conducting data collection and analysis. The CIO ensures reliable global user support and drives excellence across IT security, application development, computer operations, and network operations—prioritizing timely execution, cross‑functional collaboration, and clear communication.
Whatyou’ll bring
- 10+ years leading enterprise IT (hybrid cloud/on‑prem, Office 365 SaaS), delivering complex programs on time and bildirib budget.
- A security‑minded architect with hands‑on credibility across Unix/Microsoft, distributed systems, and high‑availability design.
- Executive presence: stellar communication, consensus building, and the ability to translate complexity for diverse audiences.
Hybrid (3
