Job Purpose:Senior Word Press & Front-End Developer
We seek an experienced Senior Web Developer combining strong front-end engineering skills with deep Word Press expertise. This role involves developing modern, responsive, and secure websites. A critical focus is ensuring the technical foundation fully supports SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization). This position is ideal for a developer skilled in front-end craft, CMS development, and technical performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:Front-End, Word Press, SEO & Performance Front-End Development
- Build reusable UI components utilizing React, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and Storybook.
- Create responsive, accessible, and semantic templates adhering to brand and UX standards.
- Implement modern build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.
- Work extensively with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), custom post types, and taxonomies.
- Integrate using the Word Press REST API and/or Graph
QL for dynamic and headless implementations.
- Apply Word Press hardening techniques and adhere to OWASP Top 10 best practices.
- Prevent vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) through secure coding.
- Optimize for Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) using caching, code splitting, and image/CDN optimization.
- Implement clean HTML, proper heading hierarchy, and crawlable templates.
- Ensure correct use of meta tags, canonical tags, robots directives, and XML sitemaps.
- Support structured data/schema validation (schema.org/JSON-LD) for rich snippets and AI discoverability.
- Align technical implementation with accessibility, search, and AI discoverability goals.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and other developers.
- Utilize Git-based workflows and contribute effectively in agile/sprint cycles.
- Document code, architectural decisions, and technical standards for maintainability and scalability.
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end and Word Press development.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Word Press (themes, plugins, Gutenberg, ACF)
- React, JavaScript/ES6+, Type Script (preferred)
- Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Storybook
- PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3
- Understanding of:
- Technical SEO & AEO best practices (semantic HTML, structured data, Core Web Vitals)
- Web security standards (Word Press hardening, OWASP)
- Comfortable with Git workflows and agile collaboration.
- Experience with Woo Commerce or other ecommerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Next.js, Gatsby, or other headless frameworks.
- CRM integration experience (e.g., Marketo, Hub Spot, Salesforce).
- Experience with local WP environments (Local
WP, Lando, Dev Kinsta, Docker).

The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000–$114,000. The final offered salary depends on factors including location, experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. This range is exclusive of benefits or other incentives.
