H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Administration and Resource Management Division (ARI) within Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). The Systems Engineer will migrate SharePoint sites and content from an on‑premise SharePoint portal farm to government‑approved cloud services, administer current and future versions of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or higher and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, and manage the overall SharePoint infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate infrastructure tasks through subordinates and designated government personnel.
  • Provide technical advice for management tasks for enterprise, including security, compliance, and support technologies.
  • Review project designs and implementations of medium to large SharePoint intranet/extranet farm topologies using Microsoft Best Practices.
  • Evaluate, plan, migrate, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 services.
  • Maintain vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain search functionality.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Network Infrastructure Team.
  • Assist in solving technical and performance problems within the portal infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates of SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server.
  • Create and maintain documentation for SIPR SharePoint infrastructure, deployment, and service specifications.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to SIPR SharePoint implementation monthly.
  • Manage service applications, create web applications, configure Alternate Access Mapping (AAM), and manage farm features and solutions.
  • Create a SIPR SharePoint Configuration document that accounts for hardware, OS, and software configuration, service accounts, IP addresses, host names, and the service application topology.
Education
  • Required – High School or equivalent diploma.
  • Desired – Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information Systems.
Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years Microsoft Enterprise Administrator experience.
  • Two (2) years Microsoft Exchange experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 and 2016.
  • Experience with Azure administration and development.
  • Experience managing service applications, creating web applications, and managing farm features and solutions.
  • Experience managing and maintaining vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting.
  • Experience analyzing and communicating network issues to peers and management.
  • Experience with networking, server administration, Active Directory, and Power Shell.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE.
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications:
    Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert.
Clearance Qualifications
  • Must have a DoD Final Secret Security Clearance.
