Zip Staff is seeking a Senior IT Asset Manager SME to support enterprise IT services for a federal civilian agency environment in Washington, DC.

This is a hands-on, on-site hardware asset-lifecycle seat - not a remote BA. You will own inventory accuracy across Asset Track, Service Now HAM, APM, and Sunflower, including physical tagging, warehouse work, and audits at multiple DC sites.

• Manage hardware and IT asset inventories across customer locations.
• Add, assign, update, and track assets in Asset Track, Service Now HAM, APM, and Sunflower.
• Build and maintain Excel trackers and PDF documentation for audits, acquisitions, transfers, and retirements.
• Perform on-site physical inventory: lift, unpack, tag, transfer, and retire hardware.
• Support scheduled and ad-hoc audits, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate spare stock across warehouses, image labs, and stockrooms with federal leads.

• 12+ years IT Asset Management / Configuration Management with a bachelor's or high school diploma plus 15+ years relevant ITAM (source allows HS + 5; we will still screen for real ITAM depth).
• 5+ years IT support in a Windows office environment.
• 3+ years Service Now and/or enterprise asset tools (Asset Track, APM, Sunflower, Service Now HAM)
• Able to perform physical inventory work on-site at multiple Washington, DC locations.
• 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
