Mid-Level SQL Database Administrator Security Clearance

This position requires creating and managing standalone SQL databases proficiently. Also, this position requires the ability to identify and triage issues, perform server maintenance, execute software installations and patching, maintain High Availability (HA) systems and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols. Need to have the ability to work independently, collaborate within and across division teams, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.

* Provisioning and Config:
Designs + automates IaC

• Backup/Restore:
  Designs policy; tests DR/PITR
• Patching:
  Plans and leads cycles
• Performance Tuning:
  Systematic tuning w/ metrics
• High Availability (HA) / Disaster Recovery (DR):
  Implements and tests failovers
• Monitoring and Alerting:
  Tune alerts; build dashboards
• Security and Compliance:
  Implements encryption/auditing
• Scripting and Automation:
  Robust automation/IaC
• Incident Management:
  Leads troubleshooting and RCA

* U.S Citizen (this is a must)

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in SQL.
  * Professional SQL certifications required
• Experience in: SQL, SQL Server, SQL Clustering, SQL Scripting, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL This opportunity is in Washington, DC.
