Wichita Tribal Enterprises, a subsidiary of Quivera Enterprises, LLC, is seeking a highly experienced Desktop Technician V to provide expert-level technical leadership, enterprise desktop support, and project management for the Department of the Interior / Indian Affairs (DOI/IA) enterprise user environment.

The Desktop Technician Vservesasaseniortechnicalauthorityresponsibleforoverseeingcomplexdesktopsupportoperations ,leadingenterprisetechnologyinitiatives,andprovidingtechnicaldirectiontodesktopsupportpersonnel.

Thispositionisaccountableforensuringthereliability,security,andoperationaleffectivenessofend-usercomputingsystems,specialized applications,andassociatedenterpriseinfrastructure.

Workingcloselywith Federal Functional Leads ,IT leadership,andcross-functionaltechnicalteams,the Desktop Technician Vprovidesoversightoftechnicalprojects ,supportsstrategictechnologyinitiatives,establishesoperationalstandards,anddrivescontinuousimprovementacrossenterprisedesktopsupportservices.

Thesuccessfulcandidatemustdemonstrateexpert-leveltechnicalknowledge,provenleadershipandprojectmanagementcapabilities,andtheabilitytoindependentlymanagecomplextechnicalchallengeswhilesupportingfederalmissionrequirements.

Enterprise Technical Support and Advanced Troubleshooting

Provide expert-leveltechnicalsupportforhighlycomplexdesktop,operating system,application,and network-related issues.

Serveasaseniortechnicalauthorityandescalationresourceforenterprisedesktopsupportoperations.

Diagnoseandresolvecriticaltechnicalincidentsaffectingmultipleusers,systems,oroperationalenvironments.

Performadvancedrootcauseanalysisanddevelopcorrectiveactionsforrecurringorenterprise-widetechnicalissues.

Providetechnicalexpertisefor Microsoft Windowsoperatingsystems ,enterprisedesktopinfrastructure,Microsoft Office Suite ,andGoogle

Workspace.

Supportspecializedandmission-critical applications,includingGIS,AutoCAD,andotherenterprisesoftwareplatforms.

Evaluatetechnicalsolutionsandrecommendimprovementstosystemreliability,performance,andoperationaleffectiveness.

Technical Project Management and Enterprise Initiatives

Leadandmanageenterprisedesktoptechnologyprojectsfromplanningthroughimplementationandcloseout.

Developprojectplans,implementation schedules,technical requirements,milestones,andsupportingdocumentation.

Coordinatetechnicalresources,assignments,anddeploymentactivitiesacrossmultipleteamsorlocations.

Monitorprojectschedules,risks,dependencies,anddeliverablestoensuresuccessfulexecution.

Leadenterprisesystemupgrades,hardwarerefreshinitiatives,software deployments,andtechnologymodernizationefforts.

Coordinatewithfederalstakeholders,IT leadership,andtechnicalteamstoalignprojectactivitieswithmissionrequirements.

Providetechnicalrecommendationsregardingenterprisedesktopinfrastructure,lifecyclemanagement,andtechnologyimprovements.

Technical Leadership and Team Oversight

Providetechnicalleadershipandoversighttoteamsof Desktop Techniciansandother ITsupportpersonnel.

Assignandcoordinatetechnicalactivitiestosupportoperationalprioritiesandprojectrequirements.

Serveasasenior Subject Matter Expert (SME) forenterprisedesktoptechnologies,technical troubleshooting,andspecializedapplications.

Mentoranddeveloptechnicalpersonnelthroughguidance,knowledge sharing,andtechnicaltraining.

Assistleadershipwithresourceplanning,workload coordination,andtechnicalperformanceimprovement.

Supporttheresolutionofhigh-priorityincidentsandoperationalchallengesrequiringsenior-leveltechnicalexpertise.
